I need a book like Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable. (I can't find it at any store!) And I need defintions of names and unique names and their meanings. Please help.|||I don't know any books that have yet matched name-meanings.com it's a data base websire that has every name you could possibly think of with the meanings, origin, gender and includes known variations although you may have to scroll through first letter names to see variations because some altered variations hold seperate meanings. You can search by name, meaning, origin, first letter, boy/girl, etc. It's pretty awesome and totally free to browse through.|||Unique names are things which someone made up. They do not have meanings.
If you want the meanings of real names, just Google the name + "meaning".
