What are some Christian meanings for last names?

For those who know, what some last names with a Christian origin and meaning?|||I dont know of any with last names... i know various first names with christian meanings, like elizebeth (house of god), joshua is a nother form of jesus (his hebrew name was jeshua), David, Sampson, etc. Michael (strength of god), Elijah (God Jehova), Christopher (christ-like), ian and john for obvious reasons, raphael is for an angel... etc.

i dont know of any last names, however... unless it is one of the above, of course!|||I can't think of any surnames with a Christian origin. Many surnames have their roots in either jobs, such as Cartwright, Smith, Cooper, Myers, Wood, etc. Or they may refer to being the son of someone, such as Hughes, James, etc.

Thought of one:

ABBOTT is an occupational name for the chief ruler of an abbey or for someone employed in the household of an abbot.|||Well, in spanish Cruz is a last name, it means "Cross" an the cross makes us remember the sacrifice of Jesus, salvation, His love to us.
