I am writing a story for writing class, and am looking for traditional English last names with bad meanings, such as doomed, sly, stuff like that.|||Baddun, comes to mind
Cruella's henchmen|||"Hooker", an innocent surname meaning "a maker of hooks", which tragically became mixed up with well...you know [1][2]. "Coward" is an unfortunate spelling of a name which means something very different according to this source:[3].
"Hymen" as a surname is not traditionally English, but Hebrew, sharing a tragic relation to a Greek word most of us are familiar with [4][5].
I wish I had more, but this is not my area of expertise, good luck with your project!|||you could look up some names on a baby names website. just search baby names on the search engine to find a site. most baby names sites have a section for the origin and meaning of a name.
by the way, i know that olivia means "elf army" as well as "peace maker", but im really not sure what origin it is.
